Shift Dance Auditions

Shift Dance is a non-profit dance company based in Gaithersburg, MD. Shift uses dance to explore the intricacies of movement - what initiates a movement and what effect does that initiation have on the body, the mind, the spirit? Shift looks at these mental and physical movements, sometimes subtle and sometimes extreme, which keep us moving and growing and creating. Auditions are open to adult dancers with minimum 3 years dance training. Auditions will include technique work in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap styles. Please plan to stay for all styles, even if you do not have training in all 4. Shift Dance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization. Potential members must be willing to participate in fundraising efforts. Accepted members will attend rehearsal on Sundays from 3-6 pm at Impact Performing Arts. Performances TBD.
