September will be a month to remember for laugh-fest aficionados with a pair of Wednesday Comedy Nights on the schedule at Empire City Casino. The Daily Show-s popular Michael Kosta will headline the hilarity on September 13th, and Joe DeVito will be at the stand-up mic on September 27th in the casino-s famed Good Time Room. Michael Kosta is hailed as one of America-s funniest comedians as a correspondent on The Daily Show and host of the Worst Birthday podcast. Based on both coasts in NYC and LA, he has appeared nationally on a slew of late night shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan, as well as Comedy Central-s The Half Hour and Fox Sports 1-s flagship series, Crowd Goes Wild. He also starred in his own comedy special, Comedy Central Presents: Michael Kosta. Kosta will be joined on the 13th by Philadelphia-based featured performer Dave Temple and comedy festival veteran Danny Palmer as MC. After working as a journalist for more than a decade, September 27th headliner, Joe DeVito, dove into comedy at the demands of his coworkers. He has gone on to appear on such nationally-acclaimed television shows as CBS- The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, and NBC-s Last Comic Standing, where he made it to the semi-final round of season five of the hit show. DeVito-s dead-on timing, unexpected twists and sheer flights of lunacy have made him a hit in the top comedy clubs in New York City. On stage with DeVito on the 27th will be featured comedienne Liz Miele and MC Kevin Ryan. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are sold at the door the night of the show. Admission is $5 for Empire Club Members and $25 for non-members; non-members can stop by any promotions booth prior to the show and join the Empire Club for free. Elite Club and President-s Club members gain free admission. All attendees receive a complimentary drink ticket.
