Gulfport Grand Prix

Gulfport Grand Prix, LLC. is producing the first annual Gulfport Grand Prix, featuring Formula Powerboat Racing and a Boat Show. In cooperation with the City of Gulfport, the downtown area will be transformed into a mecca of activity along Shore and Beach Boulevards April 28 - 30, 2017. Formula Boats, with an open public pit area, will make the Gulfport Recreation Center their home for the weekend, while an Antique boat show and a Pleasure Boat Display will be staged along Shore Blvd. S. Vendor booths lining Beach Blvd. S. will serve as the main entrance and parking shuttle drop off area for the free to the public event. Sanctioned by the NASF (North American Speedboat Federation) and conducted by S,P.O.R.T. (Southern Professional Outboard Racing Tour), the heated, up-close and personal racing action will take place on Boca Ciega Bay just off the beach. Viewing areas will be conveniently located in the center of the entire event. Proceeds to benefit PARC (Providing Advocacy & Recognizing Capabilities), a local non-profit organization whose mission is to provide children and adults with developmental disabilities an opportunity to exercise their independence and experience life to the fullest.
