Mylan World TeamTennis: New York Empire vs. Washington Kastles

The New York Empire presented by Citi open their inaugural Mylan World TeamTennis season at historic Forest Hills Stadium at the West Side Tennis Club vs. five-time defending champion Washington on Sunday, July 31, at 6 p.m. to begin a schedule of six home matches. The Empire is coached by legend Patrick McEnroe and led by No. 1 draft selection Christina McHale of Englewood Cliffs, N.J., one of America's top players. The Empire roster also includes ATP pros Guido Pella (Argentina) and Oliver Marach (Austria) and WTA player Maria Irigoyen (Argentina). The Washington Kastles will feature Marquee player Mardy Fish in the match.
