Soka University's 7th Annual International Festival

Soka University’s annual International Festival is held on the first Saturday of May, celebrating the anniversary of SUA’s dedication on May 3, 2001.  The International Festival, which is part of Orange County’s Imagination Celebration (www.ocimaginationcelebration.org), features international food, dance, music, street painting, art, ceramic sales and demonstrations, student project presentations, ceramic demonstrations, book sales, games, inflatable rides and over 100 non-profit and business exhibitors.  Over 600 volunteer international musicians and dancers will be performing on three stages throughout the day.

Attendees are encouraged to wear international attire and to celebrate their own heritages.  Admission is $5 for adults and free for under 18 to encourage family participation.  Parking is free. Over 4000 people attended in 2007.
