A CORTO DI DONNE - women's short film festival

Submissions are now open to the fifth edition of ?A Corto di Donne?, women-s short film festival, which will be held in Pozzuoli (Naples) - Italy, on 19, 20 and 21 June 2009. ?A Corto di Donne?, organized by Cultural association ?Quicampiflegrei? and by the ?Women Association of Campi Flegrei?, promotes the creativity of women, offering an opportunity to the filmmmakers from all over the world to present their works. Registration to the festival is free. Only short films directed by women, and completed after January 1st 2007, can be submitted. Any subject is accepted. The maximum length allowed is 20 minutes. The juries of the festival, composed of professional people of audiovisual industry and from the world of art and culture, will assign the prize for the best short for each category: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Videoart. It is left to the organizers the possibility of instituting other sections of the festival, where to screen those interesting shorts that have not been selected for the competition, but which deserve the attention of the audience. International videos must be provided with Italian or English subtitles, unless language is not essential for the understanding of the film.
