April 5, 2009 – April 7, 2009 Costa Mesa, CA

About this festival

West Coast Event & Balloon Arts Convention is an educational convention geared toward event and balloon professionals whether in the business for 20 years or 20 days! Hotel stay, 3 days of classes, entertainment, networking and festivities are all included for one low registration cost. Manufacturers and suppliers from across the U.S. will exhibit on the convention showroom, with attendees gaining exposure to the latest product offerings in both the special event and balloon industries. Heining is the father of the Balloon Arch — that is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary in 2009 — and a true master of Balloon Art, along with being an exceptional motivational speaker. “The primary goal of WCE&BAC is to bridge the gap between event professionals and balloon artists,” said Amanda Armstrong, convention organizer. “The need for this is evident when working together in today’s economy.” The event will begin on Saturday, April 4, with a balloon design competition, with contestants given up to 20 hours to complete their pieces. Designers who excel in three of the main contest categories will be eligible for Designer of the Year award. The public and media are invited to Sunday’s “Festival of Balloons,” where competition pieces and convention décor will be on display starting at 11 a.m. Registered attendees will enjoy three For more information, visit www.wcebac.com, call Amanda Armstrong at 949-293-3833 or e-mail [email protected].
