About this festival
Start the New Year in a brilliant way by coming to our New Year's Day party, workshop and ritual. Through dance, singing, art, meditation and prayer, we will acknowledge what we have harvested from the last year, let go of what we would like to release from our lives now, and create a plan for 2009 to be the best year ever!
Using pictures from your favorite magazines, others we have in stock, and your personal photographs, we will design treasure maps showing us our goals for this next year. You are, of course, invited to take home the map you create, to remind you throughout the year of what you most want. We will also problem-solve together, in small groups or dyads, to come up with creative ideas for how to break through any blocks we might have to acheiving our goals.
Bring something you have enjoyed, yet wish to let go of, for our gift exchange table. You may very well discover that someone else's gift on the table is a perfect new treasure for you.
Additionally, we will be engaging in both Sufi Dancing and regular dancing, hot tubbing and swimming in the pool.
Bring:

? towel for the hot tub and pool (swimsuit optional)
