The music legend has sold more than 120 million records worldwide and recorded more than 65 albums during his storied 52 years in show business. His long list of timeless classics includes an impressive 24 #1 hits - "The Gambler," "Lady," "Lucille," "She Believes in Me," "Islands in the Stream," and "We've Got Tonight" among them. Two of Rogers' albums, The Gambler and Kenny, are featured in the About.com poll of "The 200 Most Influential Country Albums Ever", and his Greatest Hits album has sold over 24 million copies worldwide to date. He is the RIAA's 8th best-selling male artist of all time with 1 Diamond album, 19 Platinum albums and 31 Gold albums. p. 2/Empire City Summer Concerts 2015 feature Rogers, Adkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd Rogers has received hundreds of awards for his music and charity work, including three Grammys, 11 People's Choice Awards, 18 American Music Awards, eight Academy of Country Music awards and five Country Music Association awards. Remaining a popular entertainer around the world, Rogers, voted the "Favorite Singer of All-Time" in a 1986 joint poll by readers of both USA Today and People, still loves touring and recording new music. About Trace Adkins: Trace Adkins- trademark baritone has powered countless hits to the top of the charts and turned albums into Platinum plaques, selling over 10 million albums, cumulatively. The Grammy-nominated member of the Grand Ole Opry is a television personality, actor, author, spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Program, the American Red Cross and has performed seven USO Tours. In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, the 6-6″ oil-rigger recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death and battles with personal demons. He also explains just how the world-s biggest alpha-male handles fatherhood with five daughters. In 2008, Trace-s integrity and wry humor served him well as a finalist on NBC-s The Celebrity Apprentice and prepared him for his return ? on behalf of the American Red Cross ? to NBC-s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. Trace has played a tough as nails biker in the The Lincoln Lawyer, developed and hosted GAC-s ?Great American Heroes?, and has hosted the American Country Awards on FOX for four consecutive years. About Lynyrd Skynyrd: The legacy began some 41 years ago in Jacksonville, Florida, and halted for a decade by the 1977 plane crash that killed three band members, including Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines. Since then, the band tragically lost Allen Collins, Billy Powell, Leon Wilkeson and Hughie Thomasson, yet Lynyrd Skynyrd rocks on with original member Gary Rossington joined by Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Mark ?Sparky? Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Johnny Colt, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Chase. The rock and roll powerhouse continually tours, this summer heading out on their second run with Bad Company. The year 2014 marks the 8th year for their annual Simple Man Cruise, a four day voyage filled with the best music in Southern Rock including an outdoor beach show featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd for the first time in the cruise-s history. And so Skynyrd stands, ?still unbroken.?
