12th Annual Heirloom Tomato and Veggie Plant Sale

A fundraiser for the Woman's Club of Ramsey. The sale is at the Masonc Lodge (at the corner of Lake Street & Franklin Tpke) in Ramsey, NJ - 10 am - 4 pm There will be a large variety of Heirloom tomato plants offered as well as a great selection of herb, eggplant, squash and cucumber plants and several varieties of different colored sweet peppers in addition to a number of hot pepper varieties. There will be over 80 varieties of heirloom & hybrid tomatoes available the day of the sale and pre-orders are encouraged to ensure you get your favorite varieties! Some new varieties this year will include: Gold Medal, Rosso Sicilia, Moonglow and Paul Robeson just to name a few! The famous Ramapo, Moreton & Rutgers varieties of tomato plants will again be offered, as they have been longtime favorites of New Jersey home gardeners for years.Included in the many varieties offered are tomato plants which are suitable for patio and container gardening. The plants are grown by Catalpa Ridge Farm, located in Wantage, NJ.
