Hoggetown Medieval Faire

Travel back in time and into a world of battling knights, dancing gypsies, and mystifying magicians on nine stages of entertainment. Join us at the 30th Annual Hoggetowne Medieval Faire at the Alachua County Fairgrounds. Be swept away by medieval magic on January 30 and 31 and February 5-7. Wander the medieval marketplace where hundreds of talented artisans sell their medieval wares. Cheer on jousting knights as they fight for their ladies- honor, witness a battle on the living chess board, observe a full-flight falconry show and armored combat. Enjoy human-powered push rides as well as camel and elephant rides. Be sure to test your strength with old world games, and feast on food fit for a king. Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm, ticket prices are $17 for adults and $7 for children ages 5 to 17. On Friday, February 5, from 9:30am to 3pm, tickets are $8 for adults and $3.50 for children.
