Paul Virzi Headlines Empire City Casino Wednesday Comedy Night on January 21

Yonkers, NY, January 13 ? Seeing Rodney Dangerfield and Eddie Murphy perform live as a kid sure rubbed off on comic Paul Virzi. The New York native is now providing the laughs, and will headline the award-winning Wednesday Comedy Night in the Good Time Room at Empire City Casino (810 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers, NY) on January 21. Accompanying Virzi will be the sports-loving comedian Joe Bartnick, while Mike Warsaw will be the MC for the night. Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the show will begin at 8:00 pm. Admission is $5 for Empire Club Members and $25 for non-members. Elite Club and President-s Club members gain free admission to the show. All patrons receive a free drink ticket. Virzi is a standup comedian who grew up in the suburbs outside of New York City. He loves his family, cigars and having pointless sports arguments with his friends. Virzi has headlined all across America, from the Beacon Theater to Carnegie Hall. His impressive list of credits include TV appearances on AXS TV's "Gotham Comedy Live," Fox's "Redeye,? writing for the ESPN ESPY Awards, and as a regular guest on "The Artie Lange Show" on Direct TV. Bartnick was born in Pittsburgh where he learned his three loves of eating, drinking and sports. He started doing standup comedy in San Francisco in the late 90-s. Joe can be heard talking hockey on the Sideshow Network-s Puck Off all year round and on WDVE during the season. Warsaw grew up in an Italian neighborhood in North Jersey. Life in the suburbs has given Mike a unique perspective on the world and how he can fix it. Upon graduation from Hebrew school, Mike attended William Paterson University where he majored in TV and Radio. Armed with a BA and a dream, Mike embarked on his Standup Comedy career. He also attended Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, where he studied acting for theater and television. Mike has appeared at Stand Up New York, Gotham Comedy Club, NYC and at The Comedy Cove in Springfield, NJ.
