About this festival
Allentown ArtsFest is a celebration of the diverse art and culture that can be found in Allentown and surrounding area and will feature:.
o 20 local bands of all genres including dirty psychedelic blues, gypsy punk, avant-garde, old school hip-hop, reggae, electronic, metal, folk and more
o A full scale skate park sponsored by Homebase of Bethlehem and the city of Allentown with ongoing demonstrations
o A huge Street Art area including DJ-s spinning old and new school hip-hip, breakdancing performances by local b-boys and live graffiti art on large walls which will later become permanent installations in some of the city-s prominent buildings and shops
o Large scale installation art pieces and reclaimed/found art placed throughout the beautiful trees and green space of Cedar Beach Park
o The Alternative Clubhouse, a children-s art area where they will have the opportunity to create with and learn from working artists, play games and just be kids!
o Live art demonstrations by metal and wood workers, potters and more
o Artwork for display and purchase by area artists of all mediums
o Free improv classes
o Instant and analog photography demonstrations
o Amazing food from local restaurants and food trucks vendors- no carnival food here!
o Craft beer from locally owned and operated breweries
