Surrender to temptation when you bite into a cold chocolate-dipped strawberry, crunch on fresh chocolate popcorn, bask in the flavor of a perfect chocolate cake, taste the sweetness of the ultimate chocolate donut... even sip up a chocolate martini! Now celebrating its 10th year, the Long Grove Business & Community Partners are proud to present... Chocolate Fest! Throughout the weekend, get your schedule at the Welcome Tent located at the main intersection and watch demonstrations by Chicagoland's prestigious culinary chef community who will share their secrets and chocolate creations in the ?Chocolate Tent- located at Towner Green across from the Village Tavern. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be wonderful sampling, demos, and contests! This year's lineup of stage entertainment on two stages Saturday & Sunday is unstoppable! The schedule includes everything from pop to rock to folk to country! Many of our nearly 80 specialty shops are waiting for your visit with chocolate-themed items and our restaurants are geared up with chocolate inspirations as well! The Krafty Kids' Tent will provide a special chocolate craft, face painting and more! Also get your commemorative Chocolate Fest Photo by the Covered Bridge. Besides exceptional dining at our various village restaurants, other favorite foods will be available at more than 20 outdoor tents, ranging from delicious gyros to smoothies. Food booths are open at 10 AM to close and our restaurants are open well beyond the Fest hours. Grab a beer at the Beer/Brat Tent, or a cold bottle of Hinckley Springs at many vendor booths to quench that thirst! Bigger and Better... so after you shop, take a seat, watch the stage performers, drink a Draft, and enjoy the scenery! Is the perfect time to enjoy friends, shop the 80 specialty shops and restaurants, spend time with family, and feel the charming character of this historic village. This delicious fest takes place May 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, 2009; Friday 10 am to 8 pm, Saturday 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm.
