A record breaking 3,000 runners took the streets Saturday, July 28 at the Wells Fargo Torchlight Run at Seafair presented by UnitedHealthcare. The 8K (4.97 miles) run began near Qwest Field and made its way up the Alaskan Way Viaduct, through the Battery Street Tunnel and after a short loop continued south along Fourth Avenue in front of 300,000 Southwest Airlines Torchlight Parade spectators to the finish. The 5K (3.1 miles) route was an out and back on the Alaskan Way Viaduct.
Awards & Prizes
The fastest female and male in the 8k will each receive two Southwest Airlines roundtrip tickets to anywhere Southwest flies. The winners of the costume contest will receive a special prize! Only registered entrants are eligible for awards and prizes.
