South Jersey Pumpkin Show Fall Festival

Woodstown/Pilesgrove, New Jersey; The 11th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show is gearing up for its biggest celebration of the fall harvest this October 10-12, 2014, hosted at the Salem County Fairgrounds. South Jersey Pumpkin Show was created out of the love of pumpkins and the fall harvest from Millville residents Kathryn & Leslie (Beau) Wright. The South Jersey Pumpkin Show was voted by CBS of New York as one of the best fall festivals in New Jersey The event-s theme for 2014 is ?Enjoy all things Pumpkin? and the festival will showcase a giant pumpkin pyramid, Big Pumpkin Weigh-Off, pumpkin wine sampling, pumpkin foods, dessert contest, pumpkin themed pageant, pumpkin contests and so much more. Thousands of families from many states show up year after year in support of the South Jersey Pumpkin Show. The 2014 show will feature the reading of Sleepy Hollow legend and the arrival of the Headless Horsemen on Friday & Saturday evenings. The giant pumpkin pyramid will be showcased as the center piece of the festival and kids under ten will enjoy a free friendly boo barn, pumpkin craft making and free pumpkins. Families visiting the festival can enjoy rows and rows of artists, craftsmen, Fall Home & Living Expo, fun contests, scarecrows, amusement rides, give-a-ways, adult only pumpkin toss, live bands, festival food court, NJ Largest Baked Pumpkin Pie, Costumed Dog Parade, Little Miss & Mister Pageant and pumpkins sold by the truckload. South Jersey Pumpkin Show will always be dedicated to Kathy's October son, Scott R.W. Bailey, who succumbed to ATV injuries on May 13, 2010. Kathy's son was a huge part of the festival from the beginning and will always be remembered by his friends and family. Portion of the proceeds are donated to an educational fund and non-profit organizations selected by B & K Enterprise. Admissions is free, parking $6.00 a carload and free shopping bags for visitors.
