About this festival
The Kerrville Folk Festival (May 22-June 8, 2014) is held annually over Memorial Day Weekend with 18 continuous days of performances by more than 100 singer songwriters and their bands. There are kids activities & concerts, music workshops in songwriting, blues guitar, ukulele and harmonica, as well as capo, music law, and teachers' education workshops. The annual New Folk Songwriting Competition features 32 of the best of America's emerging songwriters. Weekends offer 50+ Arts & Craft Vendors. Food, ice, beer & wine are available. Camping in the 20 acres of scenic and rustic Quiet Valley Ranch is the best way to experience the magic of the Kerrville Music Festivals. Warm showers and clean (albeit primitive) toilet facilities are located throughout the campgrounds. Firewood is usually available.
