Lakewood Lions Renaissance Faire

Now in its 33rd year The Lakewood Lions Club presents The Lakewood Renaissance Faire. The Club uses this event as its main fundraiser to support it's charitable commitments. The featured event Is World Champion Jouster and The Knights of Valour jousting on their "War Horses". Other events include belly dancers, magicians, knights in hand to hand combat, archers using the English long bow. Not to mention the 100 artisans with merchandise of the era. There is also plenty of food and drink (non alcoholic) to please your taste and quench thy thirst. On Sunday we feature the crowing of the Faire's King and Queen chosen from children ages 10 and under and dressed in period garb.
