This event focuses on pre-industrial, pre-motor, animal-powered activities and pioneer knowledge and skills. Old-fashioned skills and crafts by heritage artisans. Demonstrations and wagon rides by horse, mule, & ox teams. Dutch-oven chuckwagon cooking, whole hog barbecue, kettle corn, more treats. Native plant hikes and identification. Live bluegrass music, livestock displays, children's pioneer games and toys.
