About this festival
July 17-26, 2014 will be the 30th anniversary season for this world-class music and arts festival featuring Gary Sheldon and the Lancaster Festival Orchestra, winners of the American Prize for Conducting and Orchestral Performance (professional orchestra division). Indoor and outdoor venues are used to present 70 artists and events during these ten days, most with free admission. Highlights include Saturday Pops Concerts, Chamber Music & Family/Children's events. The Lancaster Festival is a recipient of the Ohio Governor-s Award for the Arts in Community Development and Participation.
