About this festival

The 22nd-annual Automobile Heritage Day, hosted by the National City Chamber of Commerce, will return to Kimball Park in National City on Sunday, Aug. 4. More than 200 participants will showcase their automobiles and compete for awards in a variety of categories, ranging from turn-of-the-century production cars to classics and muscle cars. Attendees can expect live music, food from a variety of National City-s popular eateries, live music, entertainment for children and specialty booths. A drive-by awards ceremony at 3 p.m. will showcase first-place winners for each of the 22 classes as well as second- and third-place winners. The event is free to spectators. The entry fee for those displaying their cars and motorcycles is $30 prior to July 15 and $40 thereafter.
