About this festival
On Saturday, July 20th the 20th Annual Glasgow Lands Festival will be held at Look Park in Florence, MA from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine. The park will come alive with Highland dances, pipe bands, a clan parade, sheep and dog herding, spinners, weavers, harpers, and Celtic Music. Celebrate your Scottish heritage with kilt-wearing Scots at the Highland Athletic Games. Delight in foods and items of Celtic origin. There will also be an area for children-s games and activities, and Clan Village where guests can research their background.
Celtic music is a big part of our heritage. This year our varied world class music will be heard from 9:45 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Featured artists will include Rathkeltair, Prydein, The Cabeys, Charlie Zahm, The Bell Family, and Julie MacNayr Pike. Whether sitting in the Ceilidh tent, on the lawn with a picnic, or quenching your thirst in the Celtic Pub, plan on enjoying great music. The Pub will feature local microbrews provided by Paper City Brewery of Holyoke.
