About this festival
The Panama City Highland Games and Scottish Festival features musical performers as well as a presentation of Highland and Irish dancing. Kilted athletes from all over the Southeast will compete in the Highland Games, which include the caber toss, Scottish hammer throwing, and the farmer-s walk, to name a few. The Joel Plough Memorial Young Highlander-s Games will be held for youth of all ages and athletic ability, featuring kid-sized traditional Celtic sports. In the Tartan Tea Room, homemade shortbread, tea sandwiches and pots of tea will be served along with other traditional high tea menu items. Scottish and Celtic themed merchandise and catering vendors, as well as an annual show of the Bay British Car Club, are another exciting part of the Festival.
