Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show

The Ninth annual Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show is coming up on August 17th & 18th, 2013. This family-friendly weekend event celebrates the historic traditions of wooden boats, recreation along the Yaquina River, with lots of activities for everyone. Wooden boats from throughout the Northwest will be on display at the festival. Ranging from kayaks and canoes to tugboats and Chris Crafts, the boats are beautiful and represent many years and styles. The Wooden Boat Show also offers people-powered boat races, kids- toy boat building, live music all weekend, food booths, retail vendors and informational and historical exhibits. Located in Toledo, Oregon, this event is one block off historic Main Street, where visitors can also enjoy local galleries, restaurants, and shops. The Port of Toledo Wooden Boat Show has been described as a chance to experience small-town Americana.
