About this festival
Cyclists of all levels, from novice to professional, are invited to come out on Saturday, June 8, for the 22nd Annual Collin Classic! Cyclists can choose from four different distances for the ride, ranging from 65 to 20 miles. There-s also a Family Fun Ride of four miles. The event has a great rural route and well-stocked break points. The Collin Classic begins at 8 am at McKinney North High School. Registration and more information at www.CollinClassic.org.
Not riding? Families and kids are also welcome to come out to the free Collin Classic Family Fun Fest that day from 8 am ? 4 pm, located at McKinney North High School. Features include kite-flying, a giant sand box, chalk art, extreme sports zone and a tricycle triathlon! Food trucks will be on-hand as well.
All proceeds from the Collin Classic benefit City House ? a Collin County-based non-profit that shelters at-risk kids due to abuse, neglect or homelessness. City House is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of helping kids in 2013.
