Mighty Mud Mania

Jump into Mighty Mud Mania June 8 The 38th annual edition of this slimy celebration takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 8, 2013 at Chaparral Park, 5401 N. Hayden Road. Activities are planned for all age groups -- 6 and younger, 7 to 13, over 13 and adults too! The younger group can enjoy the mini mud obstacle course, mud pits, sand castle building and an area dubbed ?Mudville.? Children up to age 13 can try their skills in the original mud obstacle course, waterslides, sandcastle building and mud pits. New this year is the Extreme Mud Course, recommended for ages 13 and older; with a $10 course fee required for participants 18 and older. The fee supports Scottsdale youth programs. The event is free, but participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Vista del Camino food bank.
