Warm and Hot in Peninsula ? Handmade Glass by Regional Artists Opening March 23 with glass demonstrations from 4-6pm, and plan to stay ? its BluesNite! An exhibit of work by regional glass artists created at temperatures above 1400 degrees. Peninsula Art Academy has invited glass artists who create flame worked glass, blown and fused glass; sculptural pieces, vessels, wall hangings, jewelry, and decorative objects. As we are a teaching facility, we have invited glass artists who are known to do excellent work, to stimulate our students and interest our educated Akron- Cleveland area collectors. This is a juried/invitational exhibit, sponsored by Marianne Hite and Bob Pozarski (from Steinert glass school) who instruct the PAA glass programs. Exhibit runs thru May 5, 2013.
