This year The Audubon Art and Craft Festival will be held in the Wallenpaupack High School. This is across Route 6 from the Middle School Complex where it has been held in previous years. The full address is: Wallenpaupack Area High School 2552 Route 6 Hawley, PA The Audubon Art and Craft Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21, 2013. Known regionally as the finest Art and Craft show in the Poconos, this non-profit event raises funds for student scholarships and environmentally threatened areas in the Northern Poconos. This year’s Festival theme, “A Sense of Wonder,” honors writer and naturalist Rachel Carson, whose book SILENT SPRING launched the environmental movement in 1962. Come learn more about Carson and her legacy and enjoy interactive displays that will awaken your child’s sense of wonder in the natural world. The Festival takes place in the Wallenpaupack High School that is located on Rt. 6 two miles south east of Hawley, PA on the eastern shore of beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack.
