Description
The Louisiana Swamp Stomp Festival at Nicholls State University spotlights local and regional bands; features a variety of south Louisiana foods; offers several presentations on the history, culture, and economic development of the region; and showcases artisans demonstrating their crafts and selling handmade items.
The festival also features the annual Bayou French Education Program, or ?Tresors du Bayou,? a popular attraction for thousands of primary and secondary school students from southeast Louisiana.
