About this festival
Located just 30 minutes south of downtown Dallas, Scarborough Renaissance Festival is a Renaissance themed festival set in the year 1533 during the reign of King Henry VIII.
The 35 acre village (festival site) features 21 stages of continuous live entertainment, 3 full combat jousts each day, a royal falconer, artisan demonstrations, more than 200 shoppes, games, human powered rides, 5 food court areas and 8 pubs and taverns. Plus, a 150+ member performing company who interact with patrons throughout the festival.
The highlight of each day is the Grande Parade hosted by our very own King Henry and Queen Anne and the children's knighting ceremony.
