Mark your calendars to enjoy the Arts Center Killingworth-s Autumn Art Trail, an art-filled Columbus Day Weekend event (October 6-7) with a FREE Open Art Studio Driving Trail and Outdoor Arts Festival on the charming and historic Madison Town Green, Madison, Connecticut. Begin the weekend at the Arts Festival on the Green to meet and view the work of painters, photographers, potters, jewelry-designers, and fabric, glass and other artisans. The festive atmosphere on the Green (Boston Post Road/Route 1 and Copse Road) is enriched with live music and a variety of gourmet food options. At the Festival pick up an event program with Open Art Studio Trail map and then drive through picturesque Connecticut Shoreline towns, filled with stunning Fall foliage and notable architecture. Along the Trail explore private working studios to meet some of the region-s professional fine artists and crafters. Both the Open Art Studio Trail and Outdoor Arts Festival are Free to the public.
