Named one of New Jersey-s Top Fall Festivals by CBS New York, the 13th Annual Italian American Festival of Mercer County will open on Thursday, September 27 with a special Jerry Blavat Dance Party from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Festival will continue through Sunday, September 30. Festival hours are 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Thursday, 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm on Friday, 12:00 noon to 11:00 pm on Saturday, and 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm on Sunday. The Italian American Festival of Mercer County features authentic Italian and Italian American music on two stages including the Roma Bank Stage; a Food Piazza with more than 40 vendors including some of the region's best Italian restaurants; wine and beer gardens; amusement rides; children's activities; bocce; the New Jersey Lottery Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday; Italian Market Tent with contemporary and traditional Italian products; Heritage Pavilion with art and memorabilia; and Cultural Theater with guest speakers and cooking demonstrations. Admission to the festival is $3.00. Children 12 years of age and under are admitted free compliments of XFINITY, only from Comcast. Convenient, on-site parking is also free. The festival is a rain or shine event with plenty of covered areas for guest comfort. Pets are not permitted.
