National Night Out Community-Wide Kickoff Event

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2012- COMMUNITY-WIDE KICKOFF EVENT 1- 5 p.m. at Northshore Park (2505 Lake Woodlands Dr) If you have children, grandchildren, or are just a child at heart yourself, you do not want to miss this opportunity to explore public safety apparatus such as: an ambulance, fire engine, mobile command unit, and more. You can also watch live demonstrations from Narcotics, Explosive Detection and Apprehension Police Dogs, try on S.W.A.T and firefighter gear and meet real Crime Scene Investigators and Texas Rangers! The kids will enjoy face painting, a bounce house, crafts, and hanging out with McGruff the Crime Dog and many more famous mascots. There will also be free food cooked up by CISD Police!
