IV International Music Festival "Don Chento Jazz"

There are plenty of talks and legends about what happens in the most western region of Russia ― and some of them are true. Maybe it is rather early for Kaliningrad to call itself proudly the jazz capital, although the former glory, as in the 70th in the Xxth century this Baltic town gave a shelter to a famous Russian saxophon-player Alexey Kozlov, could not develope properly in the following decades. But the beginning of XXIth century was marked by a ?jazz explosion? as street concerts, club jam sessions, festivals, shows etc... The international festival ?Don Chento Jazz? was established 2006 by a connoisseur of good music and good pizza Vladimir Katzman (founder and owner of a pizzeria network ?Don Chento?, which gave its name to the festival). Its aim is to create an outstanding POSITIVE event, which can attract musical elite (jazz musicians, producers, critics) and tourists from all over the world
