Healthy & Free Juneteenth Celebration

Our Third Annual ?Juneteenth? Celebration (aka ?African American Independence Day?) Our special celebration is a ?free family fun day? with an incredible concert in the Amphitheater as our contribution to ?Black Music Month.? We will host a fashion show, dance performances, live music and great bands. And, this year, we have added a youth and a gospel hour! In addition to the great staged performances by the ?world famous? Ike & Val Woods ?Young James Brown,? Tony Wilson, Sean-s Dance Factory, Kendra Williams, KG Models, and others; you-ll have to come to our Juneteenth event to find out about the other great family entertainment we have in store for you! Our fun kid-s area includes face painting and you don-t want to miss the kid-s fun is being provided by the ?Florida Panthers Hockey? organization for the ?big kids?, teens and the ?real kids?! And let-s not forget great food and merchandise vendors too! We will promote a commitment to healthy living by providing free health testing and screenings during our health fair from 5pm-8pm. This year we will be offer free immunization for kids ages 2 months to 12th grade! We have partnered with community agencies, schools, businesses, supporters and sponsors to create a welcoming event that is rich in culture, education and community involvement.
