ICE Marketing presents the 3rd Annual Mississippi Experience, Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2008 at 1 PM in Battlefield Park in Jackson. The showcase features an array of Mississippi’s finest Gospel, R&B and hip-hop artists on one venue. The Experience boasts vendors of the state’s best food dishes including Southern bar-b-que and fried catfish. Arts and crafts vendors are welcomed to participate. The ultimate goal of the showcase is to promote Mississippi’s artists, vendors and other talent of the Hospitality State. The concert features a Gospel line-up composed of several of the area’s best artists ranging from contemporary to a taste of traditional Gospel. The Experience will ooze with the hip-hop of the state’s premier hip-hop artists. Immensely talented local R&B sensation Recognition featuring an unique blend of R & B and hip-hop co-headlines along with blues legend and Rock N Roll Hall of Fame member Bobby Rush. Cure Sickle Cell Foundation members will be on hand to make PSA announcements this year between the sets for sickle cell anemia awareness.
