THREE DAYS OF ROOTS MUSIC AT LAKE PARADISE RESORT The Dawg Daze of Summer Festival is a three day event featuring the best in bluegrass, blues, funk, rock and reggae. Lone Jack, Mo. - On July 26th, 27th & 28th, The Dawg Daze of Summer Festival will take place at Lake Paradise Resort in Lone Jack featuring over 30 musical acts on 3 stages. Acts include national touring acts like JJ Grey & Mofro (Jackson, FL.), Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band (Ashville, NC.), Dirtfoot (Baton Rouge, LA), Spoonfed Tribe (Dallas, Texas) performing alongside popular regional bluegrass, funk, blues, reggae and rock acts. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit tornado relief in Joplin, MO, KKFI 90.1 FM Community Radio in Kansas City and Embrace Smiles of Kansas City, which provides dental products and services to children in need. The festival will have a hillbilly theme and will feature a roving hillbilly musical entourage combined of The Fall Down Drunks, Tyler Gregory, T-Bone Boone and Famous Seamus and The Travelbongs. Dawg Daze will also host craftsmen, artists and food vendors with a focus on ?Keeping the Scene Clean? through proper recycling, container reuse and waste reduction with enviromental services provided by Earth Peace Systems.
