NO OTHER UTAH COURSE IN THE BEND AREA OFFERS A LIVE-FIRE SESSION AS A BONUS! The live fire is optional, and not required for the Utah CFP certificate. After completing the 4-hour morning class, you'll have your Utah permit application signed and stamped, then go to the range for the afternoon 2-hour bonus live-fire training. Where else can you find a Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification certified concealed firearm instructor, a lawyer and police trainer, and other highly qualified firearms and security professionals answering all of your questions and coaching you as you shoot, all for only $99?

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Utah permit is good in 34 states. Students will have their Utah permit applications signed and stamped at the completion of this morning course. Instructor certified by Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification, NRA and Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards Training (Police Academy). Topics:
- Basic handgun safety training
- Handgun parts and operation
- Ammunition
- Fundamentals of shooting
- Safe handling
- Utah weapons laws -concealed carry, prohibited areas
- Utah justification of force laws
- Federal firearms laws
- Utah concealed firearm permit application (filled out in the classroom)
EQUIPMENT: Bring the following for the live-fire training. Leave all but the ID in your vehicle during the 4-hour classroom session:
Defensive Handgun - Semi-auto or Revolver (we recommend 9mm or larger)
At least one magazine for semi-auto
50 rds. training ammo
Any holster, but the holster must remain open after drawing
Belt to support holster
Baseball style hat
Eye protection (safety glasses)
Ear protection (muffs or plugs)
Drivers license or State ID
