Copenhagen Carnival

During the Pentecost of 1982, Copenhagen experienced its first carnival. Since then the carnival has become an integral part of Copenhagen-s Pentecost. This means that, this year, the carnival can celebrate its 30th anniversary. The Carnival has of course evolved over the years, several groups; music and dance genres have become a part of the carnival, as have several different organisers over the years. However the core has remained the same ? a cultural celebration and a festival in Copenhagen!
