Tour de Whidbey 2008

Whidbey General Hospital Foundation announces their 7th Annual Tour de Whidbey Bicycle Ride on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th, 2008. Nestled at the mouth of Puget Sound, Whidbey Island offers some of the most scenic vistas in all of Washington. As you travel on Whidbey-s back roads, you-ll experience unique changing scenery and varied terrain. You can choose from a challenging Century or 50 mile ride, or a more moderate 40 mile ride, all originating from Greenbank Farm. New for 2008 is a gentle, family-friendly beginner-s 10 mile ride which originates in the historic town of Coupeville. The 100 mile figure-eight route will cover both the north and south ends of the island, returning you to the central location of Greenbank Farm at the middle and end of the day. This ride has become known as one of the most demanding Century rides in Western Washington.
