About this festival
SummerFest features the Woodsman Competition, Kids- Corner and Kids Que, Truck Pull, Live Music, Brew Garden and the Mainely Grillin' & Chillin' BBQ Competition. Gates open from 10am to 6pm Saturday & 10-5pm Sunday ? Music, artisans, marketplace, children-s activities, Horse Drawn Wagon rides, cooking demos, Brew Garden, BBQ vendors, bean hole beans, homemade food and desserts. The Woodman competition on Saturday August 11th brings lumberjacks from all over New England to compete in over 10 categories. The Competition BBQ teams compete in fun contests on Saturday and get down to serious matters on Sunday for the coveted MGCB Grand Champion Title.
