About this festival

We are pleased be nearly complete with our lineup and to announce tickets on sale for the annual Conscious Culture Festival, June 8 & 9, 2012. (please see below for festival flier) Now in it's third year, the Okanogan has been the setting for this event that brings together music and art that promotes values of equality, sustainability, justice, healthy living, organic farming and an-all around conscious lifestyle. The event is a community effort involving local volunteer and professional staff who produce a world-class festival with reggae and world music, folk, rock, electronic, hip-hop and Native American dance, song and storytelling. Situated on a beautiful, 100+-acre piece of land 12 miles east of Tonasket at the site of the Okanogan Family Faire (aka the Barter Faire) at 72 Cayuse Mountain Road there is something for everyone in this scenic part of Eastern Washington.Besides music from over 50 performers staged on the Main, Dome, Solar and Side stages there will be speakers, poets, workshops and craft booths to create a family environment for attendees of all ages. Festival-goers will be treated to free instructional workshops centered in dance, drumming, yoga, native plant identification, Reiki, seed preservation and more. Our festival is family-friendly with a children-s village, speakers and fire dancers. Tickets include free camping, a local arts, crafts and food bazaar and access to a local organic beer and wine garden.
