Milford Oyster Festival

Largest one-day Festival in CT with 50,000 attendees. Started in 1975. Celebrates the once important oyster industry in this area and is a fundraiser for over 70 local non-profits. Areas include: Arts & Crafts, Chidren's Area, Amusement Rides, Classic Car Show with 50' Do-wop Band, Schooner Cruises, Food Court, Beer & Wine, Oyster Eating & Shucking Contests, Music all day on Main Stage. Past main acts include, Marshall Tucker, Soul Asylum, SpinDoctors, Joan Jett, etc.
