Toledo's Polish Village celebrates its heritage and showcases its central business district with the city's largest street festival - attracting nearly 25,000 visitors last year. The festival features the finest polka bands from across the Midwest, a variety of Polish food and delicacies, plenty of Polish (Pivo) and American beer, soft drinks and bottled water, a polka dance contest on Sunday at 5 pm, a pierogi-eating contest on Saturday at 6 pm, a children's area with rides and games, and arts and craft vendors from across the region. Festival Dates: July 13 ? 15, 2012. Festival Hours: Friday 5 to 11 pm, Saturday noon to 11 pm, Sunday noon to 7 pm. Directions: I-75 to Toledo, Ohio, Exit #207 to Lagrange Street.
