2012 Midwest Primitive Rendezvous

Rendezvous - an encampment of historians who live, work and play as our fathers did over 200 years ago. Several historic traders and food purveyors will be in camp where you can find period items and nourishment. We have a variety of classes, demonstrations, and seminars planned that will take you back in history. Our programs throughout the days include Animals of the Fur Trade (a seminar specifically for kids), You can watch the Blacksmith demonstrate his skills with hand-made articles available for sale. If local history interests you, this is a good place to learn about them. You can also witness Black Powder Shooting competitions, Hawk & Knife throwing contests and see Archery skills displayed.
