About this festival
Rotary Club of Mount Vernon's Eighth Annual Bike Ride and Run. Rides of 10, 30, 47 miles and 100K around beautiful Lake Cypress Springs. Routes go past exotic animal farm. Centered around Historic Mount Vernon Town Square. Participants get free barbecue dinner Friday night, hamburgers and beer Saturday at lunch. Bikes stagger start at 9 a.m. 5K and 10K runs begin at 1 p.m. Kids under 12 ride free with paid adult registration. Great Texas Hospitality.
