Springfest

The Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce brings the magic of spring to life at the 18th Annual Gulfport Spring festival! Spring fever is in the air with a diverse variety of arts and crafts and food vendors including plants, flowers, shrubs, herbs, fruits, gardening tips, garden art, Tiki Bar signs, Butterflies and Fairies, Easter basket gifts, candles, soaps, body products & body art, beach & cruise wear, fabric crafts, silk painting and much, much more! Live entertainment is scheduled to perform on two stages all day long. Entertainers include the Paul Anthony Band, The Wholetones, De'Leid Parrots, Carl Ash, Chicago Rich, Turley Brothers, Jez Crew, Gabe Whitney and the 350 piece marching band Second Time Arounders . Additionally, other venues downtown will also feature additional music and dining opportunities. The children-s area will provide activities for the kids, and will include bounce houses, a bungee jump, gyro ride, Zippy Pets, face painting, corn hole games and more! The Easter bonnet walking parade at 5 pm, is an audience participation event and everyone is welcomed to join in anywhere along the parade route. Following the hat parade, the hat contest will take place at the south stage, with prizes given for largest and most unique hats. The SPRINGFEST street festival celebration will take place on Saturday, March 31st from 10 am to 8 pm along historic Beach Boulevard in the heart of the City's quaint and charming downtown. The event is co-produced by the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Gulfport and The Gulfport Merchant-s Association. Free admission, parking and trolley rides are available in and around downtown.
