Fordham Fiasco Cross Country Meet and 9/11 Memorial

The "Fordham Fiasco" cross country meet, featuring local college teams and special memorial of the 10th anniv. of the Sept. 11 tragedy, is set for Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. at Van Cortlandt Park. Fordham's ROTC Color Guard will take the field, followed by the National Anthem and invocation by Fordham Campus Ministry. Congressman and Homeland Security chair Peter King will be in attendance and start the opening race at 10:30. Members of the NYPD, FDNY and local politicians have also been invited.
