The Wedge Skate Competition

Skate Competition The City of Scottsdale will be presenting our 12th Annual Wedge Skate Competition on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. The Wedge Skate Park is located at Eldorado Park 7660 E. McDowell Road. This facility is nationally known by many professionals, local heroes, magazines and television industries. The Wedge Skate Park consists of a Fun Box, Amoeba Bowl, Launch Box, Quarter-Pipe, Pyramid, curbs, rails and much more. Polestar Distribution and Industrial Ride Shop are making generous contributions this year so there will be more prizes, awards, and giveaways than ever. Vitamin Water will also be in attendance to keep competitors hydrated with a variety of drinks including the new “Stur-D.” There will be a live DJ, giveaways, and prizes for the winners in each age group. Do you want to compete? There are a wide variety of age groups for the skate competition ranging from 10 and under all the way to 18 and up. Registration begins on Tuesday, March 1st at the Eldorado Park Community Center. The cost to register is $8 and FREE to attend.
