Sign up for Our City Forest-s Winter 2011 Tree Amigo Class!
Our City Forest offers a comprehensive volunteer training course for people interested in assisting and organizing groups to coordinate and run tree plantings and tree care projects throughout the San Jose area.
Classes meet in the office (151 W. Mission St., Ste. 151, San Jose, CA) on 4 Wednesday evenings and 4 Saturdays at various locations.
Course topics include:
?Species Identification
?Choosing the Right Tree for the Right Place
?Proper Planting Techniques
?Tree-Care, Pruning and Watering Techniques
?Organizing a Tree Planting Event
Tree Amigo Volunteer Training Course starts January 12, 2011.
The class is free and open to all. No experience necessary.
